Ok, so I have this problem with setting a desktop background via Firefox.
Every time I do, it displays distorted, but when I set it from IE, it's fine.

IE:

FF:

What's the cause of this and is there a fix for it?

• don't want to have to use IE every time I want to change the background.
• don't want to save the image then set as background
• Already updated IE to version 8 and Firefox is at 3.6.8

Welp, looks like I fixed it myself.

Right click desktop

Arrange Icons By >
Check Lock Web Items on Desktop

Done. :D

..actually, this isn't much of a fix.
In fact it causes massive window trailing.

Ugh, and to here I thought I had it.

guess I'll just stick with using IE to set the wall

False alarm. Apparently this screwed up more on him.

Just use IE... sadly.

You never heard this from me.

LOL

Again, you never heard this from me.

I was quoting him from an AIM convo anyway hahaha.

If you're smart though, you'd just download it off your browser, like me, and set it as your background via your OS enviroment. Hurp. lolol
