No, not really.
Looking to replace the current HDTV I have. I have to choose from, Phillips, Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony or L.G.
I need to know which one would be best. You see, the current TV I have has some serious color banding going on, and well.. that's not cool.
Not to mention there is some heavy pixelation in action scenes during movies and stuff. As far as I know, that just shouldn't happen.
But if any of you dudes, or ladies know anything about HD let me know. I'd really like to get something better than this piece of garbage.
HELP PAY OUR SERVER, PLEASE!
there really is no 'best' just preference, i would love a nice bravia myself, though i recommend an LCD 1080p, 1080i is nice but its only 1/2 the framerate, from teh discription you gave me, you got a plasma (ew)
But yea SONY (Bravia) and L.G. are really nice tvs and ive never seen an issue with them, i unfortunatly cannot speak for phillips toshiba or panasonic.
ps. forgive my english i suck :P
Nah, I actually have a 720p LCD 32". It's a Dynex. I was gonna return it and exchange it for another TV that is also 32".
I just realized the Bro has a Samsung HDTV. Not sure what model (didn't ask, but i more or less what it looks like). It's pretty spiffy.
I'm planning on seeing the final of the World Cup on it now :D
I believe it's 32" as well.
I'll ask for more details later on.
Well I decided on one, I ended up getting this one here.
And apparently you don't like it and are returning it, yet again xD
SAMSUNG TIME, BITCH.
Who knows? I kept coming across Sony on some other forums, if it's the same price of the Samsung, then yeah, I'll get that.
But I really don't know.
Either Sony or Samsung should work, IMO.
Or just stop watching TV altogether and invest the money in hookers and blow:D
lolololol no, I don't think so. I'm really thinking about getting the Sony, but I'm not even sure. Like, I read some things on Best Buy about Sonys being compared to Samsungs and vice versa.
Buy both and return the one you don't want. It's totally doable xD
So I ended up getting this one, pretty satisfied with it. Hell, even the standard channels look good on this. Unlike the last two TVs.
Can't go wrong w/Panasonic.
Use to... well, still do have a black Panasonic CD player that lasted me for years upon years.
I'd buy new ones, just for the hell of it and they'd end up dying on me eventually... yet the Panasonic one held strong throughout.
