I saw that video a couple days ago and thought it was pretty good. I'll probably check out the download when I get home.
I feel like one tune out of the whole release made it weaker, but overall, I think it works. Turned out nicely, better than I expected. Kudos to them.
I think it's basically where "modern day" NIN left off, except Reznor decided to get a sex change and is now a girl.
And to be honest, I wasn't feeling where modern NIN was going in the end, but fortunately I think female vocals actually suits the style much much much more. Rejuvenates, in a way. So ultimately, I believe it's an improvement looking at it from that perspective.
It will definitely interesting to hear an all out album in the future, whether it will still work will remain to be seen. Still skeptical, cuz that's how I ROLL.
Wonder when they'll start touring, if at all.

That's how I felt. It reminded me of The Slip, just better. The female vocals work great imo, but I know some won't like that aspect. Probably won't tour until a full album comes out.
Anyway, I'm a fan. I've been listening to it all morning at work.
Well, this is cool. Has a trip-hop feel to it, sort of like Massive Attack I'd say.
And yeah, I didn't really like later NIN, but this is pretty nice. Can't imagine her actually doing heavy or fast songs though.
Also, the drums at the beginning of Fur Lined remind me a bit of Only.
I couldn't quite peg it but every time it came on I was like "I've heard this before" Then I started listening to NIN and it came on.
Not super similar, but oh well.

The Facebook story sounds like your typical nerd story though:

Nerd finds way to cope.
Somehow finds a way to be cool, and thus is accepted and only *now* do the girls want to fuck him.
Nerd gets laid (fucks them all, lawlz groupies) and gets everything he wants, due to finding these methods of being "cool".
etc.
Some time along the way he's faced with troubles once-more, since being "cool" comes with consequences, but then overcomes and everything is honky-dory.
Same ol', same ol'.
Yeah, seems like a pretty predictable story. Apparently it's dark too though!
